327 E Alsea Riviera Dr, Tidewater, OR 97390

Property Description

A rare chance to own a cherished piece of the Alsea River. Offered for the first time by the family who built it in 1977, this cabin has been a gathering place for family and friends ever since. It sits on 100 feet of river frontage, 25 feet more than neighboring properties. Every wall, interior and exterior, is solid tongue-and-groove wood with cedar on both sides, fitted together without nails. Never lived in full time, the cabin has very low miles. The 1,233 sq. ft. cabin features two bedrooms plus a spacious loft with extra sleeping space. A large bank of windows frames the river, and the retro interior, complete with orange carpeting and laminate countertops, brings vintage charm. Its wood stove is the ideal companion to a good book in the winter. A large, southwest-facing deck has room for entertaining and outdoor eating. The setting is incredibly quiet: just over a quarter acre with mature landscaping among full-grown trees. The community dock has room to launch a boat and explore a river known for excellent fishing and deep-water holes. On tidewater, it is also great for swimming and kayaking. Community costs include a water fee and road maintenance fee. If you've dreamed of a peaceful riverfront escape with character and history, then this cabin is ready for its next chapter.
