Richard Hoffman was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where he spent 23 years working for a bar supply company in all facets of the company from delivery, sales to management. 

Richard and his wife fell in love with the Central Oregon Coast in 1997 during their first vacation up the Pacific Coast Highway from California to Canada. Oregon's rugged coastline and beautiful countryside became their favorite place to be and they continued coming back to the Central Oregon Coast year after year, dreaming about moving here permanently someday.

A 2015 health scare for Richard's wife, Connie, changed their perspective dramatically, helping them realize you can't put off things until tomorrow. They bought a house in Waldport shortly after that and have come to realize it's the best move they have ever made.
